It’s not just about strengthening the defense at this point in the season, bringing in Jacoby also gives us another playmaker. His addition boosts the versatility and coverage range of our secondary. Beyond his on-field impact, we’re excited to welcome someone with his character and leadership into the team.
Med bakgrund till flertalet skador på vårt defense så har vi gjort klart med ett tillskott. Han heter Jacobe Clement och är redo att bidra till laget. Jacobe är god vän med Donovan McConnell som gör sin andra säsong för Black Knights. De spelade ihop på junior college (Juco) på Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Donovan och Jacobe har haft kontakt sedan Juco tiden där de hållit deras vänskap vid liv trots att de vistats på olika platser och tidszoner.
Vi är glad över att Jacobe är här och kan bidra på den defensiva sidan av bollen. Hur DC Erik Törnblom väljer att använda Jacobe visar sig.
Inte nog med att Jacobe är god vän med DJ utan han har också koppling till Anthony Ratliff-Williams. Jacobe har detta att säga:
I know DJ from Junior College. We both attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. We became brothers from day 1 and have been locked in since then. Although after juco we were 20 hours apart we kept in contact almost everyday watching film together, playing video games and things of that nature. I met Ant through football in Charlotte North Carolina. My first year of high school we played against his team in the first round of playoffs. Ant had a field day on us and we got sent home packing lol but I’ve always respected his grind as an athlete coming from the same area as me
